Single domain camelid antibodies consist only of one antigen binding site of a Alpaka heavy chain antibody. With only ~15 kDa, these Tags are about 10-times smaller than conventional IgG antibody molecules.

Remarks

This single domain antibody is unlabeled and can be fully customized to meet your needs. This product is also available as MBP (maltose binding protein) fusion protein to increase its size for immobilizing it in lateral flow assays.
IP: This antibody has to be covalently coupled to a resin for IP.
ICC: This single domain antibody does not carry a fluorophore and is therefore not suitable for direct immunofluorescence. It can not be combined with standard secondary antibody reagents.
FACS: This single domain antibody does not carry a fluorophore and is therefore not suitable for direct cell staining. It can not be combined with standard secondary antibody reagents.

Background

IgMs have a pentameric structure and are the largest antibodies. They are the first antibodies to appear in the response to initial antigen exposure.
The anti-human IgM single-domain antibody specifically recognizes human IgM. It has no cross-reactivity with human IgG molecules.
