50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Albumin was added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H2O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use. Antibodies should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze! |

Data sheet | 227_003.pdf |
BNIPs belong to the proapoptotic BH3-only protein family. Three isoforms have been described so far. BNIP 1 is involved in the maintenance of ER-integrity. It is a member of the syntaxin 18 complex which is involved in membrane trafficking between the ER and Golgi. Four different BNIP 1 splice variants have been described so far, one of which contains a highly conserved BH3 domain. All BNIP 1 variants are able to interact with the apoptosis regulators BCL2 and BCL2L1.
