Kir2.3 is an inward rectifier potassium channel
Rabbit polyclonal purified antibody
Cat. No.: 479 003
Amount: 50 µg
Price: $375.00
Cat. No. 479 003 50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Albumin and azide were added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H2O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use.
Antibodies should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze!

Background

The inward rectifier potassium channels of the Kir2 subfamily consists of Kir2-1 – Kir2.4. They are widely and differentially expressed in the mammalian brain (1, 2), and exhibit the strongest difference between cellular potassium uptake and outward currents (1, 3). Kir2 potassium channels modulate cellular excitability, membrane potential, and the secretion of neurotransmitters and hormones (3).
