Cat. No. 273 003	50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Albumin was added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H₂O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use. Antibodies should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze!

Background

Rab 6 proteins are members of the Rab protein family that belongs to the ras-related superfamily of small monomeric GTPases. These proteins are involved in intracellular fusion reactions of vesicles or organelles with their target membranes.
Two Rab 6 isoforms, Rab 6A and 6B, have been described so far. They are ubiquitously expressed and localize to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and the Golgi apparatus where they are involved in the modulation of vesicle-mediated cargo transport between these two compartments.
