Vti1b protein - 164-0P

Vti1b is a SNARE protein involved in endosomal fusion events
control protein
Cat. No.: 164-0P
Amount: 100 µg
Price: $105.00
Cat. No. 164-0P 100 µg protein, lyophilized. For reconstitution add 100 µl H2O to get a 1mg/ml solution in TBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use.
Control proteins should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze!
Applications

Immunogen Recombinant protein corresponding to AA 1 to 206 from rat Vti1b (UniProt Id: P58200)
Recommended dilution Optimal concentrations should be determined by the end-user.
Matching antibodies 164 002, 164 005
Remarks

This control protein consists of the recombinant protein (aa 1 - 206) that has been used for immunization. It has been tested in preadsorption experiments and blocks efficiently and specifically the corresponding signal in Western blots. The amount of protein needed for efficient blocking depends on the titer and on the affinity of the antibody to the antigen.

Background

Vti1b is a member of the SNARE family of proteins. It predominantly localizes to endosomal membranes, vesicles and tubules of the TGN. Vti1b is involved in the fusion of late endosomes and forms complexes with endobrevin, syntaxin 7 and syntaxin 8.
