Serum albumin antibody - 286 003

The plasma protein serum albumin is involved in many homeostatic and transport mechanisms
Rabbit polyclonal purified antibody
Cat. No.: 286 003
Amount: 100 µg
Price: $375.00
Cat. No. 286 003 100 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Azide was added before lyophilization. For reconstitution add 100 µl H2O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use.
Antibodies should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze!

Background
Albumins are globular, water soluble proteins. Serum albumin is the major protein in blood plasma and binds to different substances like cations, fatty acids, hormones, certain pharmaceuticals etc. However its main function is to regulate the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood.
