CAPS1 antibody - 262 003 K.O.

CAPS1 is a Ca2+-dependent secretion activator
Rabbit polyclonal purified antibody
Cat. No.: 262 003
Amount: 50 µg
Price: $375.00
Cat. No. 262 003 50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Albumin was added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H2O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use.
Antibodies should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze!

Background
The Ca2+-dependent activator protein for secretion (CAPS) regulates exocytosis of catecholamine- or neuropeptide-containing dense-core vesicles (DCVs) at secretion sites.
Two differen isoforms CAPS 1/CADPS 1 and CAPS 2/CADPS 2 that are mainly expressed in brain have been identified in mammals. Both have been shown to be essential components of the synaptic vesicle priming machinery.
